Skiing, telemarking and snowboarding lifetime sports that provide enjoyment, challenge and physical fitness!

The best way to get started is to take a lesson from the top instructors in the Midwest. Lessons are available for all ages - from novice to advanced. Lessons are delivered by professional instructors using proven teaching techniques. There are a variety of group, private and special program lessons to fit your needs.

Our children's programs enable children to discover and explore their own capabilities; our extensive adult programs will help you "tune up" for a trip out West or help you keep up with the children. So pick a skiing, snowboarding or telemark program and come to Hyland! You'll have a great time, learn new skills and make your time on the mountain more enjoyable!

SnowSports Academy Registration Details

On-line Registration - Begins at 8 a.m. Oct. 27, 2008.
Note: Our on-line registration system requires a javascript-enabled browser and minimum resolution of 800 x 600.

To log on to the on-line registration system use your 10-digit home phone number (A phone number cannot be used by more than one account in the database) and zip code for initial log-in. Do not use spaces or dashes. If your zip code has nine digits in the database, you will need to use all nine digits for your intial log-in. We recommend that you change the user name and password for security purposes after you log in.

Group Lessons - Four sessions for adults, juniors, children and preschool groups are offered throughout the season. Most sessions are three weeks. Lessons are 1 1/2 hours, but may vary with class size, weather and program. All classes are filled on a "first come" basis; class sizes are limited. To ensure enrollment, we suggest registering for all sessions early. Browse our on-line catalog!

SNOWSPORTS ACADEMY POLICY

CHECK-IN : Check in at the SnowSports Academy desk at least one hour in advance of first lesson to receive lift and rental package and lesson information. Review our Day of Lesson Tips. REFUNDS: No refunds or ticket replacements for any missed/cancelled classes. RESCHEDULING FEE:  There is $40.00 fee for rescheduling of any lessons; non-payment of rescheduling fee constitutes a cancellation. WEATHER CLOSURES:  Classes missed due to weather closures will be made up as determined by the SnowSports Academy. Call the SnowSports Academy at 763/694-7800 for details. The ski area is closed when weather conditions reach -30F air temperature or -40F windchill at the ski area. Three Rivers Park District reserves the right to operate the facility according to weather conditions, skier traffic or in their best interest.
